Face mask procurement & distribution <\/strong><\/p>\n

At Delamode, we quickly recognised that there would be shortage of good quality, correctly certified PPE equipment, evidenced by the number of air freight movements of face masks seen travelling predominantly from China to the UK. This led us into conversations with a factory local to one of our Delamode European offices. The resulting conversations have led to us sourcing a good, reliable source of PPE face masks which we are making available to the UK\/European market.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

We can offer high quality, EU manufactured, CE Certified FFP2 face masks, and a high quality, simple 3 ply mask. The 3-ply face mask uses \u201cmelt-blown\u201d material as the central layer for filtration, this is the same filtration material that is used in the more expensive FFP2 masks.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Our FFP2 face masks are manufactured in the EU and are CE Certified, meaning they comply with EU safety, health and environmental requirements. Our protective face masks are the real FFP2 masks, certified as FFP2, and are made using a high-quality material sourced from the US.
\nThe FFP2 masks come with the option of valved and non-valved.<\/p>\n

KN95\u2019s being sold as FFP2\u2019s<\/strong><\/p>\n

Due to the extreme shortage of real certified FFP2 face masks, companies have been given little option but to accept KN95\u2019s as alternatives. There have been some questions raised on legitimacy of some test certificates on these types of masks and there are various warnings that have been raised by BSiF on this matter.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

If you are purchasing PPE, from facemasks, to gloves, you will have experienced, or will experience some form of delay in transit, or customs complication\/delays.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

When making any purchase of PPE equipment please ensure the paperwork matches the goods, and that the goods hold all the correct certifications.\u00a0<\/p>\n
