After previously utilising a successful licensing model for Worldwide distribution, Katie Alice has made the strategic decision to bring wholesale logistics ‘In house’, hence the partnership with established retail logistics partner, Import Services.
Like many businesses with a strong online presence, Katie Alice witnessed a surge in demand through the Pandemic and in light of continued growth, there is an evident need to partner with a supply chain specialist with both reach and scope to underpin Katie’ Alice’s expansion plans.
Matt Searle, Director at Katie Alice, comments, “As we celebrate our 10th birthday this month, a key driver for the decision to appoint Import Services is their impressive bonded warehousing and benefits which flow from us using this facility. We searched for a partner with Brexit solutions and a proven track record, Import Services certainly shine in this regard”.
In addition, Matt cites the port-centric location as another principal reason for selecting Import Services, “The Southampton based warehouse location makes a compelling business case. Matt continued, “We are also impressed by the approachable manner in which our discussions took place, the Import Services team made it clear from the very beginning that our business was valuable to them and as such carefully provided solutions to our challenges posed.”
Mike Thomas, Client Services Director, at Delamode International Logistics cited “We are delighted Katie Alice has appointed Import Services as logistics partner, as they are an innovative brand with significant growth plans which we are looking forward to supporting. Katie Alice is also an exciting, well led business and we very much look forward to working together in a great supply chain partnership.”
